There are ways of making money online with blogs. The method you’ve probably seen on most blogs is to host ads, such as with Google Adsense. You let Google put their ads on your site and get paid when people click on the ads. These get mixed reviews. Some say they make a lot this way, but many people don’t report much income. Since they are free to ad to your site, it doesn’t hurt to try.

If you decide to advertise the affiliate program website you can not add or remove items from the website. The first rule about blogging is to make friends. Despite the fact that some blogs are actually corporate, serious and professional in their approach, most blogs these days are friendly and personal. So, what do you have to do to bring people into your blog? Blog hopping. Yes, visit other people’s blogs and give them comments (genuine ones, please) and provide a link back to your blogs. The key is to MAKE FRIENDS.

Blogs in general are simply diaries or logs of daily or moment to moment activity, quite simply a journal of sorts. Although lately blogs have become a great way to share your opinion or simply share knowledge with others, in personal or social life as well as in a business environment. It has become a way to have fun, feel close, or even become reachable in all sorts of situations.

Some mom blogs out there are all about certain situations. These are great for moms that have been through specific things or that have children with special circumstances in their lives. If you have had a baby early, you want to find mom blogs that are written by other preemie moms. If your child has autism, you can find hundreds of blogs by both moms and dads that also have children with autism. No matter you are going through, there are others out there that know and understand, and want to share their daily struggles and triumphs with you.

Well, even as good as this comment is, what if it is from a site that is not congruent with my market? Or, what if their site has no page rank, traffic, etc; etc?

The key is being consistent. As long as you are prepared to put in the time and effort to work on your blog on a regular basis, then you will soon start seeing a good income. Once you are earning some money with your blog then you can repeat the process with a new blog, but remember not to neglect your first blog when moving on to a second. keep focused and you will soon see online success.
