‘SALES’ is a difficult field. It can take the wind out of your sails. After all, convincing someone of an idea that even you do not sometimes believe in has got to be a difficult job. You have first got to formulate strategies to beat the counter question of a would-be buyer. You cannot try unethical means to realize sales of course. So what enables you to take up this challenge on a lean curve?
Another motivation al tool is to make yourself a chart, just like your mom used to make you when you were little. Make a system like give yourself a check mark on the days you achieve your goal and a circle on days you don’t. Even this little personal accountability chart will increase your motivation.
Of course make your primary goal, BUT, make smaller goals and stick to those. The smaller goals will add up and eventually you’ll end up reaching your primary goal as a result! For example, set a goal to exercise for at least 30 minutes for 4 days within the next 7 days.
Make sure your role models align with the areas in your life that you are passionate about, because it’s important to determine whether they are the source of love gaming that is most important to you right now.
Wedding Expos. Take a trip to your local wedding expo. Explore the different vendors and get an idea of which vendors you feel most connected to and would like to use. Make sure to talk to everyone – get an idea for their style and personalities and don’t forget to grab a bunch of brochures and business cards for later. Once you have your inspiration book & have gathered a few ideas of what you want your perfect day to be like, spend some time looking at your local vendors websites and make a few appointments.
The spark that triggers motivation is hope, and it’s the flame that keeps it going. Hope is desire. It’s the expectation of realizing your dream, and it’s important that you keep it alive.
This still leaves you with a conundrum: What do I do when I don’t feel like it? First thing’s first. Stop waiting for motivation. Remember that’s as ridiculous as driving the store to your car. Then take an honest look-if motivation ain’t showing up then I guess I better get in the car, or in the very least, put one foot in front of the other.
